Join us at Lehigh University Art Galleries’ Main Gallery for William Earle Williams’ gallery talk and reception. The history of American slavery is presented across three series of black-and-white gelatin silver and carbon prints. Williams’ photographs document mostly anonymous and unheralded places – from the Caribbean to North America – where Americans, black and white, determined the meaning of freedom.
