MG first look hosts MASATAKA CONTEMPORARY, TOKYO – 8 WOMEN ARTISTS
MG FIRST LOOK hosts Masataka Contemporary from Tokyo. This exhibition includes paintings by the following young emerging Japanese woman painters: Asuka Ito, Eri Hatta, Hina Maekawa, Kana Minami, Manami Minami, Miho Negishi, Saki Fujikawa, and Yuko Miyama. Our Gallery and Masataka Contemporary have collaborated with efforts to provide these eight Japanese women painters exposure in the United States.
MG first look presents DAVID E. OLIVERA – GHOST HIS OF THE ATLANTIC
MG First Look presents a solo exhibition for painter David E. Olivera. Olivera relies heavily on historical photographs from international archives to reconstruct now defunct or perished ships of the Atlantic Ocean such as the Titanic, the Lusitania, and the Mauretania. There are no photographs of these vessels in full so Olivera pieces together what few clues have been recorded. There are also intimately
