Dear Fellow Artist:
The 2014 season is about to be kicked off with some exciting announcements. The first announcement is the 2nd Annual Fine Art and Wine Festival to be held September 27 & 28, 2014 in Rancho Murieta, California- a few miles east of Sacramento.
This is not your ordinary two day festival- this is a two day event that is held in a closed gated community with approximately 2300 upscale homes, two championship golf courses and the public is invited to attend. This festival will feature over 40 wineries in a large, beautiful tent pavilion and live entertainment is expected to be ongoing for the two days.
This is truly a unique opportunity for artists to participate due to the lay out of the venue. The festival will be held on the practice golf course grounds to allow ample space for artists and patrons alike. The golf course will be closed for this event. Booth sizes will be a comfortable 15′ x 15′ or 15′ x 25′.
The Association of Independent Artists has endorsed this event and is setting a new standard for artists who participate in this event and future AOIA events. Artists will become automatic members of the AOIA upon acceptance into this show. Artists will enjoy the amenities of this festival with catered breakfast furnished by AOIA, booth sitters, and volunteers for load in/ load out.
The AOIA will host a Saturday night awards dinner for all artists. There will be cash awards, multiple drawings for free booth space for 2015, and door prizes.
As part of setting a new standard for this festival, all artist applications will be juried as the applications are received and notification of acceptance or denial sent via email TWO weeks later. Early registration is encouraged as we are limiting the number of duplicate mediums. So, apply as soon as possible. Should you have any further questions, or need additional help applying, contact Michelle at the AOIA office. 435-703-8851
Thank you.
