
BASES OF THE V INTERNATIONAL BIENNIAL OF PAINTING GUAYAQUIL
The Luis A. Noboa Naranjo Museum, invite domestic and foreign artists to participate in the V International Biennial of Painting of Guayaquil “Alvaro Noboa” to be held from April 28 to May 28, 2016, as a contribution of the institution , artists and the art world culture.
1. The Biennial is a tribute to the woman and the theme is free.
2. The V Biennial is mainly aimed at young painters in the world, but all artists may participate.
3. The effect will apply to the following regulations:
4. all national and foreign artists can participate.
5. The technique used is the oil, acrylic on canvas, with free subject; the format should not exceed 1.50 x 1.50 and a minimum of 0.80 x 0.80.

8. The artists presented at the museum offices a properly framed and ready for display work.
9. The cost of packing and roundtrip transportation of the works borne by the participating artist.
10. The works from abroad, authored want to send, it must be done by a specialized transport of mail and cargo as DHL, Federal Express, UPS, or similar company. With instructions to return, if not win any prizes acquisition stipulated in Article 12 of this regulation.
11. We will not accept express mail, or national. The work should also come priceless and declared worthless, since they come to a competition. Works that do not meet the above requirements will not be accepted. The Luis A. Noboa Naranjo Museum is not responsible for damages that the works suffer damages during transport and exhibition, but will do everything in its power to better care.
12. The following prizes will be awarded Acquisition: • 1st Grand Prize Acquisition “Alvaro Noboa” US $ 10,000 • 2nd Prize US $ 3,000 Acquisition
13. The prizes are indivisible and the winning works will become part of the Museum’s collection.
14. Prizes will be awarded to the winning artists the opening day, after reading the verdict.
15. The jury will be composed of plastic art critics renowned artists and / or and are the same for admission to the award of works.
16. The jury’s decision is final and artists participants when enrolling their works accepted in its entirety the present rules.
17. Each artist must remove the works, once the V Biennial at the Museum offices showing the document that was given to receive the work.
18. Those not used should be removed in the course of 30 days subsequent to the opening and that they be admitted in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 5 of this Regulation during the 15 days following the closing days, The Museum offices.
19. Any contingency will be resolved by the Director of the Museum.
