Perrotin is pleased to present Carried by Wonder, Sophia
Narrett’s first exhibition with the gallery, opening on March 3 at
Perrotin New York. Narrett employs the slow and meticulous
process of embroidery in response to the increasingly fast pace
of contemporary media, most often crafting narratives that
interrogate the experiences of womanhood. At Perrotin, the
artist will debut a body of work that explores the intricacies of
modern romance.

Perrotin is pleased to present our first exhibition with artist
Nikki Maloof. Opening on March 3, Skunk Hour, will present a
new series of paintings and drawings where imagined interiors
and animals become proxies for the human experience.


For Nikki Maloof, painting is a way to convey the experience of existing
in the world—the light, the dark, and all the shadows in between. Her

Born and raised in London, Epp’s coming-of-age coincided with the ascent of the Internet. Fittingly, his paintings hum with contradictory impulses. Nahmad Contemporary and Perrotin, in collaboration with the artist’s estate, will co-present the first-ever extensive survey dedicated to Georges Mathieu, founder of Lyrical Abstraction and a pioneer of Action Painting, in the United States. The exhibition spans both spaces and brings together fifty works, including museum loans and never-before-seen paintings, for a reevaluation of the artist’s contributions
