La instalación de Arte Postal ABOUT WOMEN volverá a presentar su colección completa esta vez en la ciudad germánica de Karlsruhe. El centro artístico Gedok acoge una de las muestras más extensas de mail art del mundo sobre el tema de la mujer. Más de 2000 postales enviadas por correo ordinario a la creadora del proyecto, la artista peruana Katia Muñoz. Este proyecto colaborativo se viene desarrollando desde 2010, más de 500 artistas respondieron las diferentes convocatorias  que se lanzaron a través del Colectivo femenino Virtual Proyecto Art-esencia. “Cosas de Mujeres”, “Mujeres: Secretos y Confidencias”, “Extrañas en el Paraíso: Mujer y migración” -han sido los títulos de estas convocatorias, generando y entrecruzando muchos ejes temáticos como: la violencia machista, los prejuicios, la cosificación del cuerpo femenino, la fecundidad, la belleza, etc El objetivo de este proyecto es itinerar la exhibición y generar dialogo y reflexión sobre los temas aun pendientes con el tema de género, la lucha por la igualdad y al mismo tiempo visibilizar la obra de tantos artistas, hombres y mujeres, artistas o no, creativos todos que tienen algo que decir. Son con todas estas obras que se ha creado este muro femenino, que por partes susurra, por partes grita… pero sin duda siempre nos dice algo y no deja indiferente. La embajadora del proyecto en Alemania es =&1=&, artista participante  que ha sido la mediadora y coordinadora de la exposición con el centro Gedok, para ella nuestro mayor agradecimiento. ABOUT WOMEN se ha exhibido en diferentes galerías, museos y centros de arte de diversas ciudades de Europa como Amsterdam, Lugo, Barcelona, Madrid y de Colombia en Sudamérica. The installation of Mail Art ABOUT WOMEN will once again present its complete collection this time in the Germanic city of Karlsruhe. The Gedok art center hosts one of the most extensive examples of mail art in the world on the subject of women. More than 2000 postcards sent by ordinary mail to the creator of the project, the Peruvian artist Katia Muñoz.
