THE NUDE FIGURE JURIED EXHIBITION

Thank you for your interest in applying to The Nude Figure juried by Paul DuSold and Scott Noel. The exhibition will run from October 16 through November 19,2016 and will be held at the Wayne Art Center, 413 Maplewood Avenue, Wayne, PA, 19087, 610-688-3553, www.wayneart.org.

The Nude Figure will present a survey of contemporary responses to the nude to illuminate resonances between traditions of imagining the figure and the artist’s personal experience.

Young Painters, U.S. residents, ages 25 – 35 as of competition entry are invited to participate in an annual juried competition for the 2017 $10, 000 William and Dorothy Yeck Award. Entrants should have achieved a significant degree of success as an emerging artist of noteworthy talent. The winner will become part of the Miami

“Uluslararası Alanya Heykel Sempozyumu”, Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi ile Alanya Belediyesi tarafından 2004 yılından bu yana gerçekleştirilmektedir. Sempozyumun organizasyonunu MSGSÜ Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Heykel Bölümü ile Alanya Belediyesi yürütmektedir. Sempozyumun amacı Alanya’ya nitelikli çağdaş sanat yapıtları kazandırmaktır.

Time and place 

The International Sculpture Symposium European Capital of Culture – Pafos2017 will be held in Yeroskipou, Cyprus 9^th – 24^th September 2017.

Targets

– creation of an outdoor sculpture park

– cultural and tourist development of the area

– aesthetic improvement of the area

– contact and acquaintance of Paphos visitors with the art of sculpture.

– exchange of art knowledge and experiences amongst artists of different cultures.

The topic of the Symposium

The Masters is a series of annual exhibitions established by the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers focusing on a particular branch of printmaking. Selected works will be exhibited at Bankside Gallery, 48 Hopton Street, London SE1 9JH (next door to Tate Modern) from 9-20 November 2016. This year’s exhibition will be curated by Norman Ackroyd RA RE and will be devoted to works that employ any intaglio printmaking techniques.
